So your point about torrenting to test a game is bs imo.Īs I said before, only good reason to torrent a game is if the dev. There's no excuse in this day and age, if you have net enough to torret a game you have net enough to watch a few let's plays (or reviews or both) or something to get a good enough idea of a game if you'll like it enough before you buy it.

That's like me saying it was ok to shoot said person because well I didn't really consider him a person. Who are you to deem yourself justified above the letter of the law simply b/c something doesn't live up to YOUR standards. There are several games I currently own, which I first experienced as torrent trials the Tomb Raider reboot and Witcher 3 are perfect examples of this, I torrented and finished each of these games but still went on to buy them (in fact I've bought two copies of the Witcher, one for me and one for a friend) because I enjoyed them so much that I felt the developers deserved my money.Ī game shouldn't need to trick me into buying it by only providing a tiny speck of gameplay by which to test it before it has to be returned if a game is well made and enjoyable, I will gladly pay for and even promote it (I went out of my way to buy a stranger a copy of this game because I loved it so much that I wanted others to share in my fun). I'm doing okay for money right now but when I could only afford 1 game a month, if that, I had to be very careful about my purchases. Im sorry of you dont agree but i will find ways to get my games and test them as i see fit
